This two-day writing course gives beginning writers a place to start writing the stories of their life for future generations. You will learn the basics of writing your life stories, how to edit your work for clarity, and how to organize stories thematically and chronologically. Participants will also have an opportunity to work with other writers in a workshop community and receive feedback as well as mentoring from their instructor, Liz Prather. Author of three books on writing, Prather is the former Literary Arts teacher at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Lexington. You must register for the first class to be eligible for the second class.
