Gate City Arts Guild
The Gate City Arts Guild is an organization of local artists designed to encourage, support, and promote the fine arts in our community; to further the knowledge and skills of its members; to encourage co-operations and exchange among artists; to promote the study, improvement and appreciation of the arts in our community.
Membership dues are $25.00/year which includes entry into the yearly member gallery exhibit at Gateway Regional Arts Center. Dues are paid in April. Message us on our Facebook Page if you’d like to join! “All the Arts for All the People!”

Pottery Studio @ 5:30pm

Mondays
Join us on Mondays at 5:30pm for our weekly pottery open studio. This is available to GCAG members for $10/month, and includes materials to work with, access to the pottery wheel, as well as the kiln for firing & finishing your pieces.

On Thursdays at 11AM join us for our weekly painting open studio. There is no fee to participate, artists bring their own materials and enjoy time and conversation together while they create.

The Gate City Arts Guild meets on the third Thursday evening of each month from 5:30-7:00 PM. Meetings are held upstairs in the Gateway Regional Arts Center on Main Street in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

The opening reception for our GCAG Gallery Exhibition “Gateway” is Friday, September 1st 5-7pm. This event is free and open to the public, and the gallery will be on display the entire month of September. This is a great opportunity for local artists to show and sell their pieces, as well as community members and visitors to support their local artists.
